It was very sad I so want to read more because this author writes in a very simple sentences, very easy text to read, everything easy to understand and maybe a person who cannot speak English very good, could read this book without problems.
I’d like those 2 hours of my life back. All in all, I might give it an 3 out of 5 rating. But if not then this book reads a little like a grocery list.

Still, for what it was, it was decent for the first hundred pages. The novel is just as chilling-and just as unforgettable.
Maybe it’s because it’s a translation, or maybe it’s because it’s a media tie-in, but in my opinion, the writing kind of Quotes from Ju-on Volume 1. I guess I’d recomment this for anyone who’s a fan of this franchise, or a casual horror reader.

I wanted to cry and i kept looking around to make sure no one was there. One particular thing that happens I di I just finished this book, and Kri don’t know yet what I feel about it.
If you’ve seen the movie “The Grudge” this is basically it in paperback. When a senior citizen outreach volunteer goes to work in a house in a quiet residential area, she soon starts to hear odd noises. Unfortunately this is not as scary as the movies. I cannot wait when the second book will be translated into English.
Not spectacular, but not awful either.

When I bought this book I wanted to know if a book can be as scary as a picture movie. The format is also interesting. I have seen both the Grudge version and both are scarier the japanese is more scarier and simpler.

I would recommend reading this first before seeing the film but it’s After seeing the American film at the cinema and eventually buying the Japanese film, I found this to be a refreshing read because it explained the films in much greater detail. Books by Kei Ohishi. Any fan of “The Grudge” movie. I love how it gives the Ju-On movies a more defined background story. One top of all this is the misogyny, where once strong women do a and are reduced to simpering piles. Ju-On is an easy yet engaging book.
